One of the world’s greatest percussionists, Indian tabla player and
composer Zakir Hussain is a virtuoso improviser who is at home in the
realms of ancient North Indian music. Back in Houston for this concert
after six years, the Grammy-winning musician leads a mesmerizing
ensemble featuring masters of Indian percussion, sitar, sarangi, song, and dance.
