KATIE TRAIN ACTIVITIES DAY AT ARDENWOOD HISTORIC FARM

Bring your little train fans to Ardenwood for our once-a-year celebration of Katie, the little green locomotive at Ardenwood Historic Farm. Any child that likes trains and hands-on activities will have a wonderful time. This event is designed for children ages 6 and under. Some of the fun “Katie” activities include:
*Unlimited train rides behind the Katie Train
*Play with wooden trains
*Tool Time for kids with tools just their size
*Design with Nuts and Bolts
*Build with Jumbo Waffle Blocks
*Read train books at the Train Book Library
*Beanbag Cargo Toss
*Photo ops with our wooden version of Katie
*and MORE!
Older children can enjoy Katie Train rides plus the farmyard activities at Ardenwood Historic Farm. The historic Patterson House will be open for tours conducted by docents in 19th century costumes (purchase tickets at the Patterson House)—a special tour for families with children ages 6 & under is offered at 11:30 am, space is limited.
SAFETY FIRST! To participate children must be supervised by an adult. All activities are outdoors - remember to bring hats and sunscreen. Some activities require the kids to kneel on the grass (some activities are on low tables), so dress children accordingly.
Tickets include ALL special activities and supplies, unlimited train rides, and park entry (Patterson House tours extra, limited availability). Buy tickets online beginning May 1 at www.Eventbrite.com, or purchase tickets at the gate. Cash & credit cards accepted. Free Parking.
