Bollywood Comes to the North Bay

The NBIAA's 25th Year Anniversary Celebrations bring Kavita Krishnamurthi and The Andaaz Live Band to Santa Rosa for the 2016 Diwali Function. Enjoy dinner at 5:30, followed by children's performances, recognitions, acknowledgements, and then the concert. Undoubtedly one of the favourites of the critics and the masses, Kavita Krishnamurti‘s singing career reads like a fairy tale. Her exquisite and mellifluous voice, wide range and, versatility to sing different styles and types of songs has put her in a unique place amongst singers and she has been quoted as a “melody queen” by leading critics and connoisseurs alike. Kavita has sung a wide range of classical-based songs and is the recipient of 4 Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer awards. Kavita Krishnamurti is one artist who’s managed to prove herself in every musical field which she has chosen to enter, and has enthralled and dazzled audiences from around the world having sung more than 15,000 songs in the last 30 years. Raju Chithambaram is privileged to be mentored by Kavita Krishnamurti. He is the lead singer & Director of Andaaz Live Band. Raju is a student of Mahesh Kale & Pandit Laxmi Ganesh Tewari and has sung with Kavita Krishnamurti, Sadhana Sargam and other elite artists. Andaaz Live Band is the originator of the Bollywood Broadway Musical and has raised over $1M in fundraisers.
