Announcing ICMA’s Swarotsav concert feat. Mahesh Kale

The triumph of light over dark, happiness over despair, of harmony over difficulty…witness any Indian festival and you’ll feel the magic of these victories in a most celebratory way. Music is a cornerstone of celebrations in Indian culture, a way of expressing, rejoicing, and reflecting that is at once deeply personal while binding us together in memories, community, and so much joy.

As we emerge from the pandemic, we are overcome by feelings of hope and light – and for us, being together in music is the ultimate way to commemorate and share these emotions!

ICMA Foundation warmly invites you to join us for Swarotsav, a magical, musical celebration of hope, joy, and togetherness! Conceived by our very own, National Award-winning singer Mahesh Kale, coming home to the Bay Area in his first solo concert post-pandemic, Swarotsav is a celebration of music, drenched in the festive feel of the motherland. Join us to experience this joy, to immerse yourself in music, and to make special memories together!

Joining him will be an ensemble of stellar traditional instrumentalists from India – Vibhav Khandolkar (Tabla), Omkar Dalvi (Pakhawaj), Rajiv Tambe (Harmonium), Anay Gadgil (Keyboards), Apurv Dravid (Percussions), and Mandar Wadkar (Sound). On 18th Mar 2023 at the Santa Clara Convention Center Theater.
