2019 OPEN-Rasika Charity Concert

OPEN's 11th Fundraising concert, Innisai Mazhai 2019, will be held on Saturday, May 11, from 4.30pm at Park View High School, in the Northern Virginia area. OPEN is a non-profit organization devoted to providing education for poor children in India. OPEN has been recognized as such by the IRS and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by IRS.

The musicians are part of Rasika, a group that specializes in Indian light music. Rasika was formed in 1994 and has grown significantly since then performing in several American cities, frequently to benefit charitable causes.  Rasika are looking forward to rocking the evening with golden oldies, timeless 90s, and the latest numbers, from Ilayaraja and Rahman.

We are excited to announce that Anu Hasan, Tamil movie star (Indira, Run etc) and TV personality (Host: Koffee with Anu), will be compering the event. Anu has long had a special place in her heart for India's underprivileged children, and we thank her for traveling from her base in London just for this show, and generously giving us her time and energy, to help the cause.
