Description
Pioneering Indian musician Ravi Shankar’s musical reach and instrumental mastery has expanded countless ears and minds around the world. Essentially introducing classical Indian music to western audiences, he had a profound influence upon the counterculture movement of the 1960’s, and especially the Beatles. Chants of India was released in 1997 and was produced by his old friend, and former Beatle, George Harrison.
