Join us in celebrating the Indian Festival of Guru Purnima with a dance performance by Pagrav Dance Studio. Joining us will be Belmont’s Poet Laureate Monica Korde.
Guru Purnima is a festival celebrated in India, and surrounding countries on a Full Moon Day (purnima) during the monsoon month of June or July. It is a day dedicated to honoring spiritual and academic gurus who are revered and considered important members of society in the Hindu tradition. It is an occasion to express gratitude and pay homage to the teachers and mentors who guide us in life.
