America 250 Drone Show
If you're planning to attend Fremont's 4th of July 2026 Drone Show, arriving early and planning ahead will help you enjoy one of the Bay Area's biggest Independence Day celebrations. Thousands of visitors are expected at Central Park, Fremont, making it important to know the best viewing areas, parking locations, traffic changes, and safety guidelines before you go.
Drone Show Timing
The drone show begins promptly at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, and lasts approximately 15 minutes. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good viewing location. Enhanced sound and music will be available near the Central Park Performance Pavilion. Central Park will close at 10:00 p.m.
Best Viewing Locations
The Central Park Performance Pavilion offers the best experience with synchronized music and sound. Other recommended viewing areas include the grass area between Sailway Drive and Aqua Adventure Waterpark and the Central Park Soccer Fields. The show can also be viewed from the Stevenson Boulevard side of the park, but any text or lettering created by the drones will appear reversed from this angle.
Food & Refreshments
Before the show starts, visitors can enjoy food, desserts, and beverages from Food Truck Mafia and other participating vendors. Arriving early allows plenty of time to grab dinner and explore the event before the drone performance begins.
Parking lots are expected to fill quickly, so visitors should arrive early and consider carpooling, walking, biking, or rideshare services whenever possible.
Drop-Off & Rideshare
The recommended drop-off and pick-up location is 1740 Stevenson Boulevard, near the Dog Park and Basketball Courts. The Dog Park will close at 5:00 p.m. on July 2 and reopen on July 3.
Road Closures
Beginning at 3:00 p.m., the following restrictions will be in place until before 11:59 p.m.:
Drivers needing to make U-turns should use Stevenson Boulevard or Gomes Road intersections. Access to the Durham neighborhood will be available through Fremont Boulevard.
Lost & Found & First Aid
Lost & Found and First Aid services will be available at the City of Fremont booth in the Central Park vendor area. Anyone who loses personal belongings can visit the booth for assistance. If a child becomes separated from their family, parents should immediately notify City staff so they can help reunite everyone safely.
Drone No-Fly Zone
Personal drones are not permitted inside Central Park. The event area will operate as a No-Fly Zone, and unauthorized drone operators may receive citations or fines under Fremont Municipal Code.
Safety Information
The Fremont Police Department reminds visitors that large bags and suspicious persons may be subject to inspection. Stay aware of your surroundings and report suspicious activity to event staff or police rather than confronting anyone directly.
