Fogsv Holi Celebrations Highlights

People celebrated the festival of colors- HOLI which was organized by FOGsv, Vedic Dharma Samaj Fremont Hindu Temple, UPMA, BMW of Fremont.

Holi, The festival of colors… and when it comes to Dr. Roesh Japra’s party, it brings some extra brightness to the joy & celebration of Holi. This year a new essence was added to the environment at Mission San Jose High School, Palm Ave, Fremont, when a former professional ice hockey player from San Jose Sharks, Curtis Brown appeared on the stage and gifted a Sharks T-Shirt to Dr. Japra to play Holi with. The mayor of the City Of Fremont, Lily Mei also graced the event and played Holi with Dr. Japra, Ritu Maheshwari & others.

Some people also shower each other with colorful colors ls as their bright colors mark the advent of spring. On the eve of the festival, people also dance to Indian music.

Pankaj Udhas is a ghazal singer, hailing from Gujarat in India. He started his career with a release of a ghazal album titled Aahat in 1980 and subsequently recorded many hits like Mukarar in 1981, Tarrannum in 1982, Mehfil in 1983, Pankaj Udhas Live at Royal Albert Hall in 1984, Nayaab in 1985 and Aafreen in 1986. After his success as a ghazal singer, he was invited to appear and sing for a film by Mahesh Bhatt, Naam. Udhas rose to further fame for singing in the 1986 film Naam, in which his song “Chitthi Aayee Hai” became an instant hit. He did playback singing for many Hindi films after that. Albums and live concerts around the globe brought him fame as a singer. In 2006, Pankaj Udhas was awarded the coveted Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian award.

Sangeeta rocked on Valentine Day

So,  the Concert night has FINALLY ended up on 9th of February 2018…with the sensations of vibrating songs and yeah CRAZY audience !!

Crowd have got an awesome feeling of love , buzz has eventually killed though with long queues to get there passes and wristbands, the longer queue for the security check with full of excited audience to see the performance of Sangeeta kopalkar- the star lady of the rocking night !!

The excitement of the huge crowd during her performance was all evident from the continuous echo of Clapping, Cheering and Whistling ….

With the stage bathed with lights and spotlight on her, she delivered the songs final verse and waved as she excited the stage.

And with additional food, DJ and playback music and lucky draws and raffles added with ALL, that dancing, jumping and fist pumping for 3 whole hours by the energetic audience it successfully ended up with huge applause and once more ! once more ! cheers …

Insane Experience at Fog Upma Holi | Festival of Colors HOLI 2019

Traditionally, the religious event marks a day where people come together and forget ‘all resentments and all types of bad feeling towards each other’, though it is celebrated in a variety of ways. As it was raining in Bay Area but on Saturday, Festival of Colors 2019 HOLI presented by Fogsv & UPMA at the day of event it was sunshine gift of God to Indians in Bay Area to enjoy biggest holi event in Fremont.  Family came and enjoyed the event , color , food , dance etc. The crowd was massive and tickets were SOLD OUT.

Holi is the festival of colors, it marks the day when people dissolve all their resentments and problems in the fog of colors. Holi is an opportunity to connect cultures through colors and that’s exactly what happened at the Festival of Colors 2019 HOLI presented by Fogsv & UPMA last Saturday.

It was a rainy Saturday in Bay Area but being the first mega Holi Event of the year, even god had to send a sunshine gift to his worshippers and the people of Bay Area enjoyed a successful and grand Holi event in Fremont.

The event took place at the Mission San Jose High School, Fremont and endless number of families graced the event with their presence, enjoying the festival with Colors, delicious foods, and dance and music.

FOG founder Romesh Japra, with the help of FOG team members Vidya, Ritu, Rajesh Verma, Deepal Chabra must be thanked for the successful commencement of this event. This grand event was partnered by industry giants such as Hotstar, Air India, TRI Pointe Homes and Astro Vastu.

The price of the ticket was $5, $6 and $7 for people who booked a month prior, those who booked during the month of the march and those who bought it at the venue gate respectively. The frenzy crowd made sure that every last ticket is sold out and there happened a great Holi day, pun intended.
