Welcome to Gaana Music Festival 2019 – bringing you the best of contemporary Indian entertainment. Coming to New Jersey for the first time!

Indian music fans in North America have a lot to look forward to this June, as the second edition of the Gaana Music Festival kicks off! The festival, brought to you by The Times Group, India’s largest media conglomerate, comes to New Jersey for the first time, before moving to a second edition at Mountain View, California! Dubbed “The Coachella of Indian music”, the festival aims to bring a taste of contemporary Indian entertainment to the diaspora in the United States.

Singer Alka Yagnik
The legend whose voice has been a Bollywood mainstay for close to 4 decades. What can we say that 7 Filmfare Playback Singer awards & two National Film Awards can’t? 

DIVINE (GULLY GANG)
Apna time aayega! The face of urban India’s current jam, gully rap. His meteoric rise to national fame from slums of Mumbai is the subject of Zoya Akhtar’s latest movie.

Hariharan A
The icon has something special - a curated South Indian set, just for this festival. Since 1977, the maestro has been surprising audiences - and he has something special for you!

Jassie Gill + Babbal Rai
The Punjabi pop duo is taking YouTube and the club scene by storm. The duo has 6 studio albums, 15 tracks crossing 10 million views on YouTube and several awards between them.

Sunidhi Chauhan
The “liveliest voice in Bollywood”, and one of its most versatile. Expect energetic item numbers as well as slower romantic ones. 

Vishal & Shekhar
One of Bollywood’s most popular music composer duos and live performers, since 1999. Fans can expect some of their biggest hits from their 20-year career.

Kanan Gill
After a critically-acclaimed web special, he’s back on stage. Easily one of the most identifiable and popular comedians in India today!

Rohan Joshi
One of India’s earliest and most popular stand-up comedians. Fans who’ve missed him have a lot to look forward to!
