Hindu Heritage Day 2021
Our Sanskriti (heritage), our ancestry, and our experiences shape us into who we are. Whether it is through dance, music, literature, or philosophy, our glorious heritage molds us and shapes our life. Our Shastras teach us to respect nature and to worship it. We bring that teaching with us to our everyday life. Our experiences (Anubhav) add to this, to complete the picture, to help us reach our full potential.
Hindu heritage has contributed many foundation stones for modern scientific progress. These include the concept of zero, decimal number system, surgery, language. Practices such as Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation have currently become fashionable and are contributing to the well-being of the society. Yet, there is much that can be harnessed to not only solve current problems but bring forth unrealized human potential.
This is the theme of this year’s Hindu Heritage Day 2021. We hope that through your creative energies, you will make this come alive.
