Vande Mataram Out Loud Recitation Contest

Vande Mataram is our National Song. It has not received due attention for a long time. It is the most patriotic song. It was composed by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in 1870. The song was used by freedom fighters and patriotic Indians. The song is basically praying to the mother land. We would like all adults and children to remember this song.We are organizing a Vande Mataram competition for children in Houston. We have divided the children in three age groups: 4 to 8 years, 9 to 12 years, and 13 to18 years. The youngest children are required to recite only first two paragraphs of Vande Mataram, which also happens to be our National Song
