Sandria M. Washington, a proud South Side Chicago native, is a lover of words with a 15-year media career as a writer, editor and publishing executive. Currently, Sandria is Executive Editor of BlackDoctor.org (BDO), the leading healthy lifestyle website dedicated to African American health.
Guided by her belief that all women, in particular Black women, deserve to seek and claim what fulfills them, Sandria created SheFieldTrips.com. #SheFieldTrips promotes healthy living, healing and living a lifestyle of self-discovery for empowerment. "I write my own damn permission slips and I want to help other women do the same," she says.

Barbara Green has been and entrepreneur for more than 30 years. She started her journey in 1985 where she prepared income taxes in her home. After building her clientele of more than 100 clients, Barbara decided to invest in a Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Franchise and has never looked back. During her peak, Barbara had 11 locations in Calumet City, Chicago Heights, Lansing, Glenwood and the near north side of Chicago. She gave back to her community by instructing entrepreneurship classes at South Suburban College and gave individuals with no employment history an opportunity to work for her. Barbara is now retired and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, husband and volunteering at her church.
Jennifer De La Torre is the Founder and Creator of “NICE GIRLS FINISH LAST” an organization dedicated to new, women entrepreneurs. As a former “nice girl” and with experience as a full-time entrepreneur since the age of 19, she is passionate about helping women grow their businesses and their confidence. Jennifer trains women on how to effectively market their businesses online using social media, how to create working systems, master the art of sales and more. She believes in a No B.S. approach, and her aim is to teach women the actual how-to’s of creating a profitable business.
